What does RSI measure?
Reactive Strength Index reflects the ability to produce a high jump with a short ground-contact time. It is commonly used with drop jumps and other reactive tasks.
RSI = jump height (m) ÷ contact time (s)
A higher value may result from jumping higher, reducing contact time, or both. The component variables should therefore be considered alongside the final index.
